The project begins with chalking the layout on your existing unfinished basement floor. This allows you to “walk” through the rooms and to make any changes to the footprint prior to the construction process. Framing of all walls and bulkheads, as well as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough-ins are first in the construction phase.
